Additionally, the Office of Office of the Standing Chapter 13 Trustee David Wm. Ruskin, ED MI (Detroit), offers a free Debtor Orientation Program. This program is open to Debtors as well as the general public.

Debtor Orientation Program

211 W. Fort, Detroit, Monday mornings, starting on the hour at 9:00 am and repeating every hour thereafter until early afternoon, in Room D of the 3rd floor meeting rooms at 211 West Fort, Detroit. The orientation is offered by the “The purpose of the Orientation is to help debtors better understand the Chapter 13 process (not to provide legal advice) [and] will consist of a 30-45 minute PowerPoint presentation followed by Q & A”.
